Trimble Technician - Electrical

Owen Electric has been in business since 1986. We primarily do large commercial, institutional and multifamily electrical construction projects. Based in Northeast Florida our primary area of operations is in the Southeastern United States. Duties may include:

• Develop and extract Trimble data in design software such as AutoCAD or Revit, and point files.
• Layout and data collection of electrical construction utilizing Trimble GPS and Line of Site Total Station assets.
• Items for layout may include, equipment, conduits, hangers, lights etc as well as collection of respective as-built data.
• Must be able to lift, carry, setup and maneuver relative equipment in typical construction conditions and walk or stand for long periods of time.
• Possess the ability to read and understand construction drawings, project standards and specifications, as well as industry standards and best practices.
• Must have a valid driver’s license and meet company vehicle insurance policy requirements.
• The Trimble Technician will be responsible for survey and construction stake out on multiple locations.
• Perform routine equipment/tool inspections checks.
• Ensure that tools are clean, properly shut down, and stored after use.
