Location: Travel-based (Projects primarily throughout Southeast US)

Owen Electric, Inc., a trusted name in large-scale commercial and industrial electrical construction, is seeking a skilled and motivated Traveling Electrical Project Manager. This is a key leadership role for someone who is comfortable managing complex jobs across multiple regions and ensuring the highest standards of quality, safety, and performance.

Key Responsibilities:

• Lead electrical construction efforts on large commercial and industrial projects across various locations.
• Coordinate schedules, labor resources, subcontractors, vendors, and materials to ensure project success.
• Maintain strong client and team communication, handling RFIs, submittals, change orders, and daily documentation.
• Ensure all work is performed safely, within scope, on time, and on budget.
• Drive a culture of accountability, quality craftsmanship, and adherence to all project specifications and codes.

Qualifications:

• 5+ years of experience managing electrical projects in the commercial or industrial construction sector.
• Ability and willingness to travel and remain on-site for extended durations as needed.
• Deep understanding of NEC, construction sequencing, and field operations.
• Proficiency in tools like Procore, Accubid and Bluebeam.
• Strong leadership, organizational, and communication skills.
• Journeyman or Master Electrician license preferred but not required.
